HMS Weekly Update
May 4-9, 2026

Congratulations to the Red Hawk Forensic Team who competed at State Speech & Drama this weekend! The team was up at 5:00 am and competing until 6:30pm today - working yo give their all each and every minute of competition! We are thrilled to share our squad placed 14th over all in the state! Huge congratulations to Senior Israel Ross who placed 3rd in the state for POI (Program of Oral Interpretation) and 4th in the state for Poetry! The entire team did a fantastic job at state champs with many very close to breaking to semi finals! Our state Festival competitors also did an amazing job! Congratulations to Junior Chance Rudder who received a I rating in Impromptu speech! Congratulations to sophomore Tyson LeMay who received a I rating in both Humorous Solo Acting and POI (Program of Oral Interpretation) (not photographed) We look forward to watching our underclassmen continue to grow and compete next year and wish our seniors the best in their bright futures!
