We need activity drivers and sub route drivers with the potential for a regular route, if interested, in the future. Starting pay is $20/hour. You must have a Class B or A CDL with school bus and passenger endorsements. We will do all the training and you will get paid for training time. We will help you in every way possible with licensing. A clean driving record and background check will also be necessary with a few other requirements.

Congratulations to the Red Hawk Forensics Team who competed Saturday, February 14, 2026 at the Royal Valley Invitational taking 7th out of the 18 teams.
Senior Ashley Moraleda placed 3rd in informative Speech earning her a spot at State Champs. Junior Tori Tawzer placed 4th in program of oral interpretation (POI) earning her a spot at State Champs. Junior Chance Rudder placed 5th in program of oral interpretation (POI).
The entire team continues to see scores improve with wonderful feedback from judges! The team competes next this Saturday at Jackson Heights! Break a leg Red Hawks!




HMS Scholars Bowl had a great evening! 7A placed 1st, 7B placed 2nd, and 8A placed 2nd.

Congratulations to the Hiawatha Red Hawk Forensics team who place 9th our of 20 teams at Rock Creek on Saturday! Senior Ashley Moraleda placed 5th over all in Informative Speech. Freshman Ella Olson placed 5th in Program of Oral Interpretation. Each team member brought their very best and add to the team's overall score. We look forward to continuing to see their growth this season! The Red Hawks compete next at Royal Valley on Saturday, February 14th. Break a leg Red Hawks!

Congratulations to the Red Hawk Forensics team who placed 6th out of 15 teams at their first competition of the season at Nemaha Central today! Placing today Senior Israel Ross bought home a 6th place medal in Program of Oral Interpretation & secured a state festival qualification in Poetry placing 6th. Senior Ashley Moraleda placed 3rd in Informative speech. Junior Chance Rudder placed 4th in Program of Oral Interpretation & 5th in Impromptu Speech! Junior Tori Tawzer earned a state festival qualification placing 6th in Prose. Freshmen Ella Olson earned her first State Championship qualification placing 2nd in Prose. The entire team really shinned and we can't wait to see how they grow this season! The Red Hawks compete next Saturday at Rock Creek! Break a leg Red Hawks!

The Red Hawk Varsity Scholars Bowl team placed third at the Big East League meet with a 7-3 record. Arron Yang was named to the all league team. Congratulations to Mr. Sump and these Red Hawk scholars!
