There will be preschool screenings February 21, 2025 at Horton Elementary School, and on April 4, 2025 at the Brown County Special Education Annex. Anyone who has a child three years to five years old and would like to have their developmental skills checked in the areas of Personal / Social, Adaptive, Fine Motor, Gross Motor, Cognitive, Hearing, and Speech and Language, please call (785) 742-7108 and ask for Lynne to schedule an appointment.
HMS Boys Rescheduled Game at Rossville
As part of our new topic, "¡Vamos de viaje!" (Let's go on a trip!), Spanish II and III students will be working on a project where they’ll plan a one week trip to Costa Rica. The goal is for students to research and organize all the details of the trip, including flights, accommodation, transportation, tourist attractions, activities, and costs. Throughout the project, students will showcase their ability to present this information clearly and coherently in Spanish. This is a great opportunity for classroom learning to be put into real world application.
