7th grade science students participated in a rainbow lab today. This lab helps us prepare for precise measurements using a graduated cylinder and safety practices such as goggle wearing, and avoiding spills. All had a successful and fun time! #HMSRedHawks

HHS Senior Parent Meeting!
The football jamboree scheduled for Friday night at Nemaha Central will begin at 6 pm. The jamboree will include Hiawatha, Nemaha Central, Centralia & Perry Lecompton.
The red/blue volleyball scrimmage for Friday night has been moved to 5 pm due to the time conflict with the football jamboree. Come out at 5 pm Friday night to meet this year's Red Hawk volleyball players!

Last week, Hiawatha Elementary staff and families had the opportunity to come together and enjoy one another's company at a Back to School BBQ. We would like to extend a HUGE thank you to our sponsors that allowed us the opportunity to gather! Chandler Contracting and McPeak Optometry sponsored the space at Hiawatha Country Club as well as our delicious pulled pork! HES PTO provided desserts to enjoy after our meal as well! We thank you so much for helping us kick off our amazing year together!
