Bus Drivers Needed! We are hiring a bus driver for a morning route (2 hours in the mornings with option for more time) and a route driver (3.5 to 4 hours each day). We are always looking for subs and activity drivers. Starting pay is $19 per hour and all training is provided with pay. You need a class B or A CDL with the passenger and school bus endorsements and we will help you get your license. Contact Jim Farris at buses@usd415.org or call (785)741-2777.

1. What does it cost to get my CDL with the proper endorsements?
· USD 415 pays ALL expenses related to acquiring your Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) with the school bus and passenger endorsements.
2. What does the Entry Level Driver Training cost?
· USD 415 offers paid training and we cover the cost of the training materials.
3. What about the bad behavior of the students on the bus?
· The bus driver is in charge on the bus and if there are problems there is a system in place to address any situation of discipline needed.

Mrs. LeMay's reading groups have been working on building fluency, using text from each grade level's ELA classroom. Students have 30 seconds to read as many prepositional phrases as possible. Then they track their progress each day with a bar graph. This skill helps with grouping phrases together when reading, fluency, and accuracy. #HMSRedHawks
