Face Coverings: All participants (including but not limited to athletes, coaches, officials, spectators, support staff and all others attending/participating in school activities) shall wear a face covering in the manner it is intended to be worn (for purpose of COVID-19 risk mitigation) while at the event venue and for duration of the event. The only exception is provided for athletes during the time they are competing and for officials during active play. Participants and/or officials may choose to wear a mask during active play unless it poses a safety risk.

Jack Rosa’ also dazzled the judges in prose bringing home a 1st place medal qualifying him for State Champs!

Raven Stroud soared last night placing 1st in original oration, 2nd in Humorous solo & 2nd in impromptu speech! All wins qualify her for State Champs in each category!
Congratulations to IDA team Ethan Pruitt and Eli Hoschouer who continue to tickle judges funny bones bringing home a 1st place win! Qualifying them for State Champs!
Ethan Pruitt also placed 7th in Original Oratory!

The Office of the State Bank Commissioner (OSBC), the Kansas Insurance Department (KID), and its division, the Office of the Kansas Securities Commissioner (KSC) are sponsoring the annual Kansas Financial Scholars essay contest to award up to five scholarships to Kansas high school seniors who, through school courses, independent study, and personal experience, have gained an understanding of money management and can demonstrate that knowledge and the importance it will have in their future.
