
HHS & HMS Band camps have been postponed until a later date and time

At last night’s regular board meeting Hiawatha USD 415 Board of Education voted to revise the 2020-2021 school calendar. 5th and 9th grades will now start Aug 20th; all other students will start Aug. 21st. These changes were made to allow for additional planning and professional development in light of anticipated needs for the school year.


RED HAWK Summer Volleyball Camp July 13, 14, and 16 5:30 pm - 7:30 pm Grades 7th - 8th (2020-2021) at Hiawatha Middle School. $20 per player. Please bring the following form along with payment to the first day of camp. Checks payable to HHS Volleyball.

High School cheer tryout practices will begin July 7th at 6:30 am at the Fisher Center. If there are any questions please feel free to call Kelly @ 785-741-0620. Go Redhawks!

SENIORS!! Don't forget to locate your cap, tassel, cord, stole, and gown for graduation. And if you haven't yet, take your gown out of the plastic bag and hang it up. Please bring everything to practice on Sunday at 12:00.


Attn Driver's Ed students: Today is the last day to take the handbook test 3:30 at HHS. Successful completion of this test is required prior to driving and/or course completion.

Reminder: Tickets are required for admission to HHS graduation on Sunday. Doors open at 1:15 p.m.

Hiawatha USD 415 4 yr old At-Risk Pre-School applications are now being accepted. Children must be four years of age on or before August 31, 2020. Applications are available at the Board of Education office 706 S 1st St. Hiawatha, our website www.hiawathaschools.org, and by using the link below. Just a reminder that HHS Senior fees must be paid before receiving graduation tickets.

HHS Trap Club will have a trap shoot, Sunday, 6/14 in Falls City at 2:00. Bring equipment. All students interested are welcome. Contact Makayla Pilcher with questions.
