HMS Picture Retake Day is 10/30/2024! If you're satisfied with your child's picture, no further action is required.
If you purchased and were unhappy with your Picture Package, please send your Picture Package to school with your student on Retake Day. Your Retake Picture Package will be shipped to the school four weeks after Retake Day. Please note, if your child is photographed on the original and Retake Picture Days, the Retake picture will replace the original picture in certain products, like the yearbook.
Students who were absent for Picture Day should come to school prepared to have their picture taken. If you have not preordered, please use the Retake Order Code 87013XF to place your order at https://inter-state.com/Order. To see your Order History, check your Inter-State Account.
Congratulations to our HES Character Kids who showed characteristics of the October character word- Self Direct. Grade level teachers chose one boy and one girl from their grade level who exemplified the character trait! Each student received a certificate, $5 gift card to McDonalds, and a Red Hawk character kids t-shirt! This recognition was made possible with a grant through The Foundation.

Please join us in congratulating our next recipient of our Red Hawk Hero Award at HES! The Red Hawk Hero goes to someone in our building who exemplifies the characteristics of a hero! Casey Clements is our recipient! Casey moved to the office this year from her position as a para. She has been a huge asset to the office staff. She works so well with everyone and is always available to help and do whatever task is asked of her! For me personally, she has been a super hero. She helps me so much each and every day and has helped make my day go so much smoother. I know if I am drowning or need assistance with anything at all, all I have to do is ask Casey for help. She is so very good with all the students and staff! Thank you Casey for all you do for us at HES. We dig Kansas pigs! Second grade took a virtual field trip to a Kansas pig farm, where we discovered why pigs are so important and how much work goes into running a farm. Students had a fantastic time learning about pigs and their care. Oink, oink! 🐷 🐖
