Congratulations to our HES Character Kids who showed characteristics of the May character word- Courage. Grade level teachers chose one boy and one girl from their grade level who exemplified the character trait! Each student received a certificate, $5 gift card to Hiawatha Creamery, and a Red Hawk character kids t-shirt! This recognition was made possible with a grant through The Foundation.

A NOTE FROM NURSE HEATHER AT HES!
Parents/Guardians:
Please contact me at 785-742-7181 if you would like to pick up the over the counter (OTC) medications that you provided for your child’s use at school. Otherwise, I will plan to send all the OTC meds home with your child on Tuesday the 21st. If your child is attending summer school, I will keep the OTC meds you provided until the end of summer school.
Thank you!
