Congratulations to Riley Gibbs placing second in the 100 meter dash at the Big 7 league meet. Riley added a silver medal in the 400 running a 51.67 and a silver medal in the 200 meter dash.
Freshman Pauley Rockey earned her first league gold medal winning the 1600m run with a 5:37.9. She also earned a bronze medal in the 800 meter run.
Senior Jordan Hodge earned a gold medal in the 1600 meter run at the Big 7 league meet running a 4:33.71. He added a second gold medal in the 800 running a 2:03. He finished the night with a silver in the 3200.

CDL Proxy Exams/ELDT Theory training will be offered at the Hiawatha Middle School on May 29th & 30th. Anyone in the community interested in acquiring a CDL of any kind and endorsements are welcome to attend.

Civil War Re-enactment Guest Speaker
8th Grade students in Mr. Hampl's American History & Government class enjoyed a presentation from Mr. Dugan Shoemaker. Mr. Shoemaker showcased his artifacts from his Civil War re-enactment experiences. He presented his 1853 Enfield Rifled Musket. Students asked thoughtful and inquisitive questions about his material and experiences.
